Why Police Fucking Suck

When I talk to the people who I've been friends with since before I was a revolutionary punk rock type guy, things always get uncomfortable when anything that is remotely political (which is just about everything) comes up. How can I explain the political beliefs that I hold to be true without spending five days recounting my experiences and thoughts that have led me to believe what I do. I don't have five days, and usually the people listening don't have five days. Which means that up 'till now, I've blurted out things that have made little sense, or have been downright stupid. I mean, it is true that police suck ass, but saying it like that doesn't change many people mind.. And if I leave a conversation feeling further away from the person that I just talked to then what's the point?

So I thought of a way to explain, in under five minutes, why I think that police fucking suck. I putting it here so that you can use it if you find yourself talking to people that love
police and law and order.

When I say that "
police suck", or "I don't think there should be any police", people always say something like "what are you saying, we should just have total anarchy? What are you going to do about the rapists and the killers. I think that we need people around to protect us from those who wish to do us harm."

So my simple answer goes something like this, "
Police don't protect us from those that wish to do us harm. The job of cops is to enforce the law of the land. The laws of the land in this country were written by slaveowners and the descendants of slaveowners. The laws in this country are mainly set up to protect property, because they were written by the people who have the most property. So a police's job is actually to protect property more than to protect the people. I can prove this idea with this example; if a person is starving and has no money, and he or she goes into grocery store that has an abundance of food, and he or she steals some of the food, it is a police's job to arrest him or her. If he or she tries to flee, it is a police's right to beat or shoot him or her. Plus with bribery and police misconduct to people that we always heard on news and read on newspapers has nothing to do with protecting people. They actually harm to the people. There are many examples like this, instances where police act as the foot soldiers for the rich. Another things about cops is that they very rarely actually protect people. More often they try to catch people who have already done something that against the law. If a person really wants to end violence, then a good place to start is by confronting violence. Vote against more violent cops. Vote against more violent weapons. Turn off the TV and don't pay to see movies that are full of it.

But most of all, try to even out the balance of power and wealth so that everyone has equal access to things that they need to survive, that way people won't need to take food, money, property, power or life from other people. And of course I can bring up that having police allows some fucked up, bad individuals more chances to do harm to other people as much as it allows good people a chance to protect other people.

In regards to your comment about the starving person stealing food from a grocery store and the police arresting them, not protecting people but actually hurting them, this is false. The owners of the store, who are people, are protected by the polices actions because the police stops someone from harming them, in this case, harming their business. The example you gave made it sound like you were saying that the business owner isn't a person or should have less protection because he owns a business and that the starving person should have more protection. Just because a person is starving doesn't allow them to just break simple laws. Would you excuse a starving person if they murdered an innocent business man who was at lunch, so the starving person could eat?

Secondly, if slaveowners wrote the laws we follow now, did slaveowners write the laws regarding the illegality of slavery?

Thirdly, I am slightly confused about how you wish to confront a 'violent' situations that you call the police by voting against violence, yet you also seem to be preaching a lawless society that would set up the perfect venue for violence.

Also your point about not watching TV and movies that are full of violence is simply stupid because only people that are not smart enough to understand the difference between the acting of fiction and the reality of life would let these movies effect them. You have to have really little common sense and smarts about yourself to let something that is 100% fake effect your actions.

Regarding your last point, how do police allow criminals to act, because the entire purpose of the police is to stop criminals and get them away from harming the peaceful public. I do not understand how you think that by eliminating the police, all criminal actions will actually stop.

However, I am only arguing for the theory of police and am not taking into account the human element and the absolute stupidity of some police officers. While I do believe the idea behind the police is 100% correct, the human element is where police go wrong, and in fact, there are many situations where I hate police extremely strongly.

The problem with police is that they are very normal people that are given a job of fairly extremely authority and for many of them it is very hard to keep their natural human biases that they have developed out of how they express their authority. Human error is the reason for almost all of misconduct of any type of police that is due to the individual police officers natural human greed, a racial prejudice they may have developed, a stereotype they believe in or other things.

The problem with the police doesn't lie in the idea and theory behind police but the fact that it is people, who are no different than the general public, doing the policing.

We as people need to band together and create a balanced society of weekly electronic votes that should be city state federal and international kinda like Facebook only more monitored and fair. We are Americans with brothers and sisters moms and dads do are Iranians or Australians Chinese these are not enimies they are people with emotion and understanding let each person represent their own wrong doings in s court if law and let his neighbors and locals vote on their matters voting would be optional not mandatory this type of reform could change everything and put the power of laws and taxes ECONOMY back to a true democratic state we the people is how this idea started and since our technological expansion we have only trafitionalized a dated management system that is no longer efficient. Where's the pony express? In our heads for when our electronics brake down possibly what I'm saying is use reason let knowledge grab us all if you don't like it I suggest you should convince the people otherwise and try stopping me because it's just too obvious a right answer anything else would actually a false democratic system where someone is trying to blind people from the truth otherwise they would join and help out help out your planet our freedom and our loved ones. Why do politicians go behind closed doors? Wouldn't it be neat if all those so called evil villains had to post on gov book for us as citizens of this country and we as citizens get to vote on what happens please understand and if there is a will than surly there is a way. Everyone could have a ferrai like car everyone could have a nice home. I will only listen to the person that can give me the checkbook of America records over a trillion in taxes and not any release on where's it going? It's the future come on . Ps I don't want some vague pos answer I want black white hard facts keep the grey away it's running over a billion lives I need accuracy not guess that's just more evidence of an inadequate governing system.
